The operating instructions (PN 7012.1012) for the LA GARD Basic Plus Model 3803 are being revised to clarify the functionality of the Silent Alarm.

In order to initiate the Silent Alarm signal when in single or dual mode, and when the combination ends in a "0" (zero), you must now only add +1 to the last digit.

Example:

Combination: 5-6-7-8-9-0

Duress Combination: 5-6-7-8-9-1 only

In the case when the combination ends in a number other than "0" (zero), you may still add or subtract (+/-) 1 to the last digit.

Example:

Combination 1-2-3-4-5-6

Duress Combination: 1-2-3-4-5-5 or 1-2-3-4-5-7

Note: In either case, the lock will open without any indication that the alarm signal has been sent.
