X-10 Serial Number Label Now Bar-Coded

As of 7/03/2014, and starting with manufacturing serial number 5210006907032014ARM, all X-10 and CDX-10s will have a bar code on the eight digit electronics serial number label.

The peel off label is designed to enhance the deployment process of a GSA Cabinet. Simply peel off the label and secure it on standard form SF 700. Standard form 700 is used by the US Government to record security information about the container.

The barcode has been added to support our OEM's quality control process that links the lock to a cabinet. The barcode follows Code 128, which is a high-density format used extensively worldwide.
