• 3. Refer to specific device and trim templates for additional reinforcements, cutouts and mounting hole requirements.
• 4. Provide 4-1/2" (114.3) wide or full stile width reinforcements.
• 5. Outside door face, bridge or channel reinforcement, required when outside trim is used.
• 6. Reinforcements should be adequate for machine screw holes (minimum engagement of 3 full threads). Maximum thickness 5/32 (4) for door skin and reinforcement.
• 7. Shields recommended for mortise lock installations.
