CR910BKM & CR972BKM Mullion Holder

For a Hollow Wall:

  • Locate the vertical centerline of the wall bracket on the center line of the wall stud.
  • Mounting screws (not included) for the wall bracket must go in the wall stud.
  • Use the appropriate hardward to mount wall bracket on the wall.

To Install Wall Bracket:

  • 1. Determine vertical centerline of mullion location on the wall and transfer it on the floor perpendicular to the wall.
  • 2. Locate the centerline of the bottom retainer 1-1/8" from the wall parallel to it.
  • 3. Install bottom retainer on the floor as shown, using the hardware provided (two anchors with screws).
  • 4. Place the mullion assembly on the bottom retainer, while holding the mullion vertical. Apply the top retainer to the mullion and mark the location of the top surface of the retainer on the wall (Mark 1, Figure 1.).
  • 5. Make a second mark 3/8" above Mark 1 (Mark 2, Figure 1.).
  • 6. To mount wall bracket to the wall:
  • Locate the top surface of the bracket on the Mark 2.
  • Align vertical centerline of the bracket with the vertical centerline of the mullion.
  • Mount the wall bracket to the wall using hardware provided (two anchors with 1/4-20 flat head screws).
  • 7. Check the installation by locking the mullion into the holder.
