1. What is BLSS?

The Corbin Russwin BHSS trim is a lever with sloped, smooth surfaces that was designed for healthcare settings. It is used on the ML2000 mortise lock to provide ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 durability and strength for tough environments.

2. Is the ML2000 mortise lock with BLSS trim appropriate for patient rooms?

Yes, the BHSS trim is available in 19 functions including Passage, Privacy, Institutional/Utility, and Institutional Privacy.

3. Is this trim ADA compliant?

The ML2000 mortise lock with BLSS trim meets A117.1 Accessibility Code, BOMA International 4.13.8, and complies with Americans with Disabilities Act.

4. What features are available?

Sloped surfaces and overlapping rose and lever construction
19 functions available, including electrified
Stainless Steel finishes (629 and 630)
Available with Microshield®, an antimicrobial coating

5. Does this trim meet ANSI/BHMA testing standards?

The Corbin Russwin BLSS trim is certified for the ANSI/ BHMA Series 1000 Operational Grade 1 and Security Grade 1.

6. Does the ML2000 with BLSS trim retrofit in existing mortise lock preps?

Yes, the ML2000 mortise lock with BLSS trim retrofits any door that has been prepared with ANSI A115.1 standard mortise door prep.

7. Are there matching thumbturns?

Yes, to round out the aesthetic look and feel, a matching thumbturn is available.

8. What is the warranty?

The BLSS trim with the ML2000 mortise lock is covered by a 10 year limited warranty.
