Function for the e-Genius Storeroom (2000)

From inside, lifting the lever should extend the deadbolt and rotating the lever down should retract both bolts. Deadbolt can be extended by using the thumb turn on the inside or by lifting the lever on the outside. From the outside, presenting a valid user code will unlock the lock for 5 seconds allowing the user to rotate the lever down will retract both bolts.

After the 5 seconds pass the lock will return to being locked.

Key override, rotating the key unlocks the lock momentarily allowing the lever to retract both bolts. When key is removed, the lock will return to being locked.

Function description for the e-Genius BetterConnect (2990)

The residential function is designed to leave the lock in passage mode if the deadbolt is retracted. The lock will typically be used for residential application from others such as homes and apartment units.

To unlock the lockset the user must use a valid code and rotate the lever to retract both bolts. Once the deadbolt is retracted, the lockset will remain in passage mode for 20 minutes after this time the lockset will automatically lock.

The User can extend the deadbolt using the inside thumb turn and automatically lock the lockset. The deadbolt can also be extended by lifting the outside or inside lever.

When the user exits, the deadbolt will be retracted and automatically go into passage mode and allow access without the need for a valid code.

The residential function will remain active until the deadbolt is extended or 20 minutes transpires. 20 minutes countdown timer to lock can be turned off as well.
