Secura Key's Network Modules allow the SK-ACP to easily connect to your Local Area Network, so that you can use your existing network infrastructure to monitor and control your access control system. You have your choice of SK-LAN-MOD for 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connections or the SK-WLS MOD for 802.11b/g wireless.

These compact modules plug directly into the SK-ACP panel (Revision N or later) and they receive their power from the panel, eliminating the requirement for an additional external power supply.

To enable access to a local network, the modules integrate a fully developed TCP/IP network stack and operating system. The module can be configured remotely over the network. The wired module can be automatically located and set up by SK-NET™ Version 4.0 or higher. The wireless module can be located using

the software provided with your wireless router. Both modules use the Transmission Control Protocol to assure that no data is lost or duplicated and that everything sent arrives correctly at the target.

SK-LAN-MOD This wired module includes an RJ-45 jack, 2 status LEDs, and provides an auto-sensing 10/100 Ethernet transceiver.

SK-WLS-MOD The wireless module uses the widely accepted 802.11g protocol to connect to the wireless infrastructure, and is it fully compatible with 802.11b wireless networks. The module includes power and status LEDs.
