STB microtechniques FL3500 family electronic biometric locks are warranted for one year to be free from manufacturing defect.

Any lock, which proves to be defective during this time period, should be returned to the place of purchase, freight paid, with a complete explanation of the failure. At the option of the manufacturer, the lock will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the original purchaser.

Customer abuse, neglect or unauthorized modifications, service, repair, act of war, acts of nature are not covered by this warranty. Consequential damages, which may arise through the use or misuse of these products, shall not be borne by the manufacturer or his agents.

Except as noted herein, there is no other warranty expressed or implied. The manufacturer reserves the right to amend, alter, extend or deny warranty coverage at their option without prior notice.

Tips for trouble-free usage

Do install locks according to supplied manufacturer's directions.

Do test the function of your new lock at least three times with the door locked open.

Do install new power cells at least once a year and as soon as battery warning appears

Do have at least two enrolled users or managers

Do not test your new lock by closing and locking the door.

Do not expose your new lock to severe cold, heat or humidity.

Do not attempt repairs or alterations to your new lock.

Do not install batteries that are old, showing sign of "salting" or are the wrong brand or type.

Do not guess ; when there is a doubt about your lock's function, call professional safe and vault technician.
