INSERT INSTRUCTIONS

FIELD INSTALLABLE LATCH CATCH MONITOR "LCM" SWITCH FOR SCHLAGE 9000 SERIES MORTISE LOCKS. THE KITS EASY "DROP-IN" INSTALLATION MONITORS WHETHER THE LOCK IS IN LOCKED OR UNLOCKED STATUS. THE SWITCH IS SPDT ( SINGLE PULL DOUBLE THROW )

KIT INCLUDES

TOOLS REQUIRED

A. 50047 - (x1) LCM Bracket

B. 20015 - (x1) LCM Sticker

C. 40243 - (x1) Strain Relief

Phillips Screw Driver

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT)
• Rating: .5A @24VAC
• LCM Configuration: Green Common (C)

Blue/Black - Normally Open (NO) Gray/Black - Normally Closed (NC)

Remove cover plate (4 screws). 1.

Remove the following items: 2. Fish wires through the bottom hole in the lock body. 3.

Place REX Bracket over post and replace mounting Tab (B) to Secure, if the switch hits on the locking hub move silver slide to move hub out of the way, seat bracket and reinstall Tab. 4.

• Replace hub center spring assembly. Line up & place over posts so lightly rests on switch 5.
• With one finger holding the Spring on the Post and 6. the other on the Tab, rotate clockwise.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Once Hub Center has rotated past the Switch, push it down to the bottom of the lock body.
• Replace Retractor Link (C), Retractor Hub (D) and add 8. the Fire Door Fuse to the Post.

Replace cover, if needed pull on the anti-pic and push 10. the latchbolt to help install cover.

After tightening the four screws, testing the anti-pic and latchbolt, apply the LCM sticker.

Pull the slack out of the wire harness and install the strain relief.
