Door Installation

Step 1

Attach the centering Bracket to the top of the door as shown in Figure 1a and attach the 218 Pivot to the bottom of the door as shown in Figure 1b.

Step 2

Slide the door over the 218 Pivot, which is attached to the bottom of the door frame, see Figures 2a and 2b. Then, while the door is resting on the 218 Bottom Pivot, tilt the door, so that the opening in the top Centering Bracket fits into the main spindle located at the top of the door frame.

Step 3

Adjust the height of the door with the special Adjustment Tool provided in the Closer Package. See Figure 3.
