APEX 2000 Features and Benefits

  • • Maximum protection. Investment cast construction and vandal-resistant trim deliver maximum protection against forced entry without impeding easy exit.
  • Dependable operation. The APEX 2000 allows fast, easy egress. A built-in rubber bumper sound dampener reduces noise even in high traffic areas. Designed with fewer moving components, the APEX 2000 requires much lower maintenance than comparable products.
  • Smooth appearance. We designed the APEX 2000 for a smooth appearance—no exposed fasteners and very low-profile end caps—that won't pinch, catch or snag during operation. Available in a range of true architectural finishes, the APEX 2000 fits any design aesthetic.
  • Premium materials and construction. Made from top-quality materials and with hardened steel hex dogging assembly, the APEX 2000 delivers durable, low maintenance performance.
  • • Flexible installation. Universal-function APEX 2000 Exit Devices are field reversible and available to fit a range of door sizes and types. The wide stile design allows for installation on doors that are not completely flat or when vision lites or glass project beyond the door. No shims or glass cutting is required for installation.
  • • Easy retrofit. Universal mounting holes and flexible configuration options make installing APEX 2000 Series Exit Devices on existing doors simple.
  • • Indoor/outdoor application. Available in PRECISION's 626W Weatherized Finish, APEX 2000 Series Exit Devices can withstand even the harshest environmental conditions.
