The Pemko 2009_PK Panic Threshold features a unique gradual slope that makes maneuvering over the threshold easier. It is the best choice on the market today for ADA compliance. Additionally, this threshold can be used where vertical rod exit devices are specified or wherever a gasketed threshold is desired.

The patent-pending threshold features a 1:2 sloped gasket design, providing a highperformance seal at the bottom of the door as well as an easy transition to the integrated stop in the threshold.

With a maximum height of 1⁄2", the Pemko 2009_PK Panic Threshold meets the ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities and the ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities standards. The 2009_PK Panic Threshold also meets the California Building Code (CBC) 2013, 1008.1.7 Thresholds.

The gasket, manufactured from PemkoPrene® material, as well as the assembled 2009_PK threshold have achieved GREENGUARD Gold certification by meeting the requirements of UL 2818 for products with low volatile organic compounds (VOC).

The threshold is constructed of durable aluminum for long life, is certified to and exceeds the ANSI/BHMA A156.21-2009 requirements for thresholds. The design of this threshold enables Pemko to offer a concealed fastener option by locating the fastener holes in the gasket channel for an improved aesthetic appearance.
