INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The PD15REXKIT-ED is a field installable request to exit switch for AHT 8000/9000, PD15/16,

Jackson 1285/1295, & Kawneer 1686 series exit devices.

KIT INCLUDES

• A. REX switch
• B. 4 Phillips screws
• C. 2- Sticky pad w/ zip tie
• D. REX sticker

Tools Required

• Phillips screw driver

Blue - Normally Open (NO)

Gray - Normally Closed (NC)

• Remove rear mounting bracket and slide REX bracket into existing groove in housing towards push pad.

• Depress pushpad and slide until REX triggers on the pushpad, secure REX bracket by tightening all (4) screws.

• Test placement by depressing pushpad to make sure switch activates.
• Add sticky pad and zip tie to secure REX wires and add wire configuration sticker.
