"H" Hip Paddle

"H" – Hip Paddle

An oversized hip paddle is added to to allow a person a more "hands-free" approach to opening the door using existing units.)

"AM" – Anti-Microbial Coating

Anti-Microbial coating is applied to the covers and handles to help prevent growth of bacteria.

"L" – Lead-Lined

Lead is provided to cover where mounting holes will pierce lead on lead-lined doors.

"PL" – Entrance Only

For applications when only the pull side of the door is used to operate the door. Flat trim plate is provided on the push side and standard pull trim is provided on the pull side.

"PS" – Exit Only For applications when only the push side of the door is used to operate the door. Flat trim plate is provided on the pull side and standard push trim is provided on the push side.

"EX" – Extended Handle

6" Extended handle is provided in lieu of the standard 4-¼" long handle to allow a person a more "hands-free" operation of the door using the crook of their arm. Specify push or pull handle.

"X" – Slip-On Handle Extension

Aluminum handle extension is provided. Adaptable to both the push and pull side handles, extension allows for a more "hands-free" operation of the door using the crook of their arm.

"B" Round Asylum Trim

"SEC" – Security Fasteners

Security fasteners are provided for all exposed fasteners.

"AB" – Asylum Trim on Both Sides

Asylum trim is provided on both sides of the door in lieu of standard hospital push/pull trim.

Specify asylum trim type:

• "B" Round Asylum Trim
• "C" Angled Asylum Trim
• "FM" Flush Mount Asylum Trim

"RX" – Request to Exit

locks (see C-18 for details).

"EL" – Electronically Locked

Available for some mortise lock bodies – Fail Safe (see C-18 for details).

"EU" – Electronically Unlocked

Available for some mortise lock bodies – Fail Secure (see C-18 for details).

" PLA" – Asylum Trim on Push Side

Asylum trim is provided on push side of the door and standard pull trim is provided on the pull side.

Specify asylum trim type:

"J" – Junior Cover

3-½" x 2-¾" compact covers are supplied in lieu of the 4-½"x 2-¾" standard covers. Ideal for use on mortise lock applications when mounting trim vertically and using a thumb turn to allow for more clearance between cover and thumb turn.

"PSA" – Asylum Trim on Pull Side

Asylum trim is provided on pull side of the door and standard push trim is provided on the pull side.

Specify asylum trim type:

• "B" Round Asylum Trim
• "C" Angled Asylum Trim
• "FM" Flush Mount Asylum Trim

"RC" – Round Cover

Provides a more sleek and ligature resistant look in lieu of the standard covers.

"THICK" – Special Door Thickness

For door thicknesses less than or greater than the standard 1-¾", unit will be supplied with custom shafts and mounting screws. Specify door thickness (mortise lock applications have a minimum of 1-¾ " door thickness).

"FM" Flush Mount "6000-RC" Round Cover
