Double "D" Metal Punch & Die Set
SPECIFICATIONS
Hole type: Punches a DOUBLE "D" hole in sheet metal cabinet drawers and doors.
Metal type: Use on metal cabinets or any type of sheet metal door made with 18 gauge (.048) or lighter steel.
To use: Drill a 3/4" hole centered where the cam lock is to be installed, slide the punch through the hole and tighten down the hex nut with a 11/16" wrench or socket set.
Hole size: Punches a DOUBLE "D" hole size approximately 7/8" wide by 1-1/8" high.
For use with: 1-1/8" diameter Olympus cabinet locks 720, 820, 920, CR25 ME93, SA54 and YA93.
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Locate the center of where the cam lock is to be installed and drill a 1/2" hole at that location.
Step 2: Insert draw stud and die from one side of door and punch and flange nut from the other side of door.
Step 3: Add a few drops of oil to the threads of the draw stud and position the "flats" properly for your particular cam lock installation.
Step 4: With an 11/16" wrench holding the draw stud on one side of the door, tighten the flange nut with another 11/16" wrench (or socket and ratchet) from the other side of the door.
Step 5: Remove punch unit after double "D" hole has been punched.
