Subject: Modified Outside Housing Requires New Lever

Models: All Mortise and Exit Trim (except narrow-style) Models

A design modification to the outside housing requires a shorter outside Lever , as the existing Lever will not fit into the modified outside housing. A new Spindle Spacer must also be used.

Therefore, when replacing the outside housing, ensure the new Spindle Spacer is fully inserted onto the spindle before attaching the new outside Lever (see photo below).

Note: The new Lever is NOT interchangeable with previous Levers .
