Turnpiece Assembly with Concealed Screws Installation Instructions©

1. Insert shaft of alignment tool into turnpiece hub of mortise lock so barrel of tool reaches the door surface.

2. Place turnpiece plate over barrel, onto the door surface, so that plate is aligned with the center of the turnpiece hub in lock.

3. Mark screw holes of the plate and fasten to door. Then remove alignment tool.

4. Insert spindle of turnpiece assembly into turnpiece hub and fasten the turnpiece rosette to the turnpiece plate.

5. Test to make sure that turnpiece will throw and retract deadbolt smoothly with no binding. NOTE: Barrel of alignment tool must match inside diameter of turnpiece plate.
