Marks USA's new Electrified Lock Series offers labor-saving electrified models in both mortise and cylindrical locksets in various functions, and for a variety of applications. Marks USA offers both Mortise and Cylindrical solenoid-operated locks in 12, or 24 VDC. Electrified locks utilize solenoid actuators and are supplied with bridge rectifiers for use with either AC or DC current.

Features
- Flexibility in ease of installation. Marks USA can offer dramatic savings in time and labor over electric strikes, and a cleaner installation, by wiring directly through the hinges. This eliminates the time-consuming requirement of cutting into cement-filled frames.

Marks USA Cylindrical Leversets w/Built-In Request to Exit
All the features above, plus with integral request to exit (REX) switch, ideal for access control applications. Activating the inside lever for egress initiates the built-in REX output, providing a momentary signal for the access control REX input for alarm shunt during egress.

Marks USA Electrified Mortise Locks
Marks USA Mortise Locks deliver additional safety, security, and convenience. Different electrified options allow integration to fire alarms and/or networked access control systems while preserving the durability and reliability that makes them and Marks USA products a leading choice for high traffic applications.
• Marks USA Mortise locks are 12VDC or 24VDC source, powered from a power supply or control panel
Choose Fail Safe or Fail Secure - Fire related applications, i.e., stairway doors need to be locked in case of fire and wired directly into Fire Alarm System. In fail-safe mode, power must be applied to lock the lock, whereas in the fail-secure mode power must be applied to unlock the lock. When power to the lock is disengaged or "fails", the lock will go to its fail-safe (unlocked) or fail-secure (locked) mode. (Note - Most electrified mortise locks are ordered as fail-safe.)
- Provision for up to 3 separate sensors: A key position sensor, a request to exit sensor, and a latch thrown/retracted sensor
