INSTRUCTIONS FOR HIT-24 STRIKE LOCATOR FOR STEEL DOORS & JAMBS

WHEN USING POWER TOOLS ALWAYS WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION!!

Lock prep with faceplate indention made by our Pit Bull tool. The HIT-24 will also work if you use a cut out and mounting brackets.

HIT-24 guide being mounted in door. Use the mounting screws supplied with the lock being installed to hold in place.

Place the locator point in the HIT-24 push all the way in and close the door.

Apply pressure to the locator point to leave a mark on the door jamb.

This is the exact center of the strike. Use this point to establish layout lines required for the strike cutout. See a listing of the strike mounting brackets we offer on our web site to mount strikes plates in steel jambs.
