Major CCT-100 Cylinder Capping Block Installation Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH CCT-100

CYLINDER CAPPING BLOCK FOR CORBIN & RUSSWIN INTERCHANGEABLE CORES

The CCT-100 block is adjustable for both 6 and 7 pin cylinders. With the stop screw in the counter bore, 6 pin cylinders can be accommodated. Move the stop screw to the other side for 7 pin.

After keying the cylinder, place the brass cover strip on top of the cylinder and hold in place.

Lift the spring loaded top plate and slide the cylinder into the capping block. The spring tension will hold the brass strip in place.

Test all keys to make sure the cylinder is keyed correctly.

Use a plastic, rubber or rawhide mallet to set the brass strip. The use of a steel hammer is not recommended as repeated use will damage the top plate.
