INSERT INSTRUCTIONS

Field installable Request to Exit switch for Command Access ML1 & LPM1 series mortise locks. This kits easy "drop-in" installation adds a signal to alert the control panel that the door is about to be opened by someone exiting from within the secured area. This switch is SPDT (single pull, double throw).

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT)
• Rating: .5A @24VAC
• Configuration: Green Common (C)

Blue - Normally Open (NO) Gray - Normally Closed (NC)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the four cover plate screws and the cover plate. Locate the Hub Assembly.

2 Remove the following items:

Pull the wire harness through the bottom hole in the lock body.

Place REX bracket over Post and replace Mounting Tab (B) to secure bracket.

Replace Hub Center Spring so it lightly rests on Switch and the Spring is behing the Post .

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• With one finger holding the Spring on the Post and the other on the Tab , rotate clockwise.
• Once Hub Center has rotated past the Switch , push it down to the bottom of the lock body.

• Replace Retractor Link (C), Retractor Hub (D) and add the Fire Door Fuse to the Post .
• Replace cover, if needed pull on the anti-pic and push the latchbolt to help install cover.

• After tightening the four screws, testing the anti-pic and latchbolt, apply the REX sticker.
• Pull the slack out of the wire harness and install the strain relief.
