Helpful Mounting Tips

Part Name Qty.
3" U-Bolt 1
3/8 Washer 2
Lock Nut 3
Self-Tapping Screw 2
3/8" x 3/4" Bolt 1

*Install your Panic Bar before installing the PS-SB Strike Bracket

Using the screws and hardware provided with your Panic Bar, install your Panic Exit strike on to the PS-SB bracket with the flat side of the bracket facing out. With the gate in the closed position, place strike bracket so the latch fits in the keeper, and mark the post. If using on a chain link gate, use U-Bolt. For square posts, use self-tapping screws. Be sure that you have enough clearance for the gate to open freely. If gate fits loose when closed, you may place the 3/8" x 3/4" bolt in the slotted adjustment gap to act as a stop. Adjust strike accordingly to obtain proper fit. Finish using self-tapping screws for added security and strength, and to keep PS-SB in position.
