LR6600 Series – Ligature-Resistant Trim with Mortise Lock Body
Standard Features
- Mortise lock body provided specify function (see page C-16 to C-17 for details)
- New ligature-resistant design provides a sleek look as well as functionality not commonly found in push/pull trim
- Mortise lock body only available in 2-¾" backset
- 4-⅞" ASA strike supplied standard
- ¾" latch bolt throw
- Mortise lock cylinder and cam not provided
- Uses clover leaf-type cam Best®* C258 or equal (except 6638 and 6645 models, which use Best®* C293 or equal on outside)
- 6 Pin Cylinder = 1-⅛" long
- 7 Pin Cylinder = 1-¼" long
- 1-¾" standard door thickness minimum (specify if other than 1-¾")
- Meets ADA requirements
- All mounting hardware goes through mortise lock body prep – no additional prep required
- Trim is non-handed; however, the mortise lock
- Can be mounted vertical or horizontal (with handles pointing toward hinge edge of door)
- For mortise lock functions where thumb turn will be used mount the trim horizontal to achieve required clearance
- Handles can be mounted up or down by simply rotating trim 180º
- rated 90 minutes or less, up to 4'0" x 8'0"
