INSTALLATION / REMOVAL OF CYLINDERS AND LEVERS FOR

ARROW, BEST, FALCON INTERCHANGEABLE CORE CYLINDERS (65-73, 70, 72, 73 PREFIXES) AND SARGENT REMOVABLE CORE CYLINDERS (60, 63, 64 PREFIXES) ONLY

Removing Cylinder Core

• 1. Insert control key and turn counter-clockwise until stop is reached
• 2. With key in this position pull out core
• 3. Remove key

NOTE: If a control key is needed for one bitted, removable core cylinders (63-), cut a key blank from bow to tip using 113511.

Removing Cylinder Lever

• 1. Remove cylinder (as above)
• 2. Remove set screw
• 3. Use a flat blade screwdriver to rotate cam within lever sleeve 45° clockwise to align wide slot with lever retainer catch. (See below)
• 4. Depress catch and remove lever

Installing Cylinder Lever

• 1. Assemble lever onto sleeve
• 2. Use a flat blade screwdriver to rotate cam within lever sleeve 45° clockwise to align wide slot with lever retainer catch. (See below)
• 3. Push lever until catch engages. Check engagement
• 4. Secure with set screw

Inserting Cylinder Core

• 1. Insert 6 or 7 pin tail piece into two holes on back of cylinder core
• 2. Insert control key and turn counter clockwise
• 3. Slide core into lever
• 4. Rotate control key clockwise to lock in lever
• 5. Remove control key. Hold cylinder with finger and remove key
