iCLASS® SE readers are widely used in access control installations. They are based on the same Seos® technology as Aperio® locking devices so organizations have the opportunity to expand the capabilities of their current system—and create one single ecosystem. Doors simply need to be equipped with electronic Aperio® locking devices with integrated RFID readers (e.g. cylinder, escutcheons or locks), and linked to the existing access control system.. This allows Security and Facility Managers to have greater control, more easily respond to organisational changes, and will only need to monitor a single security system. Users will require only a single RFID access control card. The Aperio® V3 platform is the 21st century wireless access control choice for superior efficiency, real-time security, and speed. Aperio® readers support iCLASS® Seos® cards, a standardbased high frequency contactless smart card used for authentication and data confidentiality.

Aperio® cylinders

Easy to fit, battery powered electronic cylinders with RFID readers. The design and technology of these impressive low-maintenance electronic cylinders sets new standards.

Aperio® escutcheons and locks

Battery-powered electronic escutcheons with RFID readers and a slim, timeless design. They can be used in all commercially-available doors with mechanical locks.

Aperio® communication hubs

The link between Aperio® locks and the existing access control system. The hub has a standard RS485 or IP connection, making it compatible with most systems on the market today. It communicates directly with Aperio®-enabled locks and cylinders via an encrypted 2.4 GHz wireless link.

Aperio wireless locks run on standard lithium ion batteries and only "wake up" when prompted by a smart card or other user credential. No connection to the mains is necessary—and there's no use of power when inactive.
