• • Reinforcement on outside of door required only if outside trim is used.
• • Reinforcement to be adequate for the drilling and tapping of machine screws. • Refer to templates listed for additional cut-outs, tapped hole requirements,
• and other specific reinforcement. • Tap holes for hinge stile mounting when applying device.

• Shields are recommended on mortise lock installations to protect the lock,

device and trim from the door insulation.
