EXIT ALARMS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5100, 5800 & 12-5800 Series

TO ARM ALARM:

All Series

Turning Key arms or disarms unit. Red signal below Cylinder indicates unit is armed. NOTE: The unit is automatically armed 15

seconds after the unit is turned on.

SECURITY / TAMPER

VIOLATION:

All Series

by key. If not deactivated by key, horn will automatically turn off in two minutes and

Horn sounds for 2 minutes unless deactivated

automatically rearm.

LOW BATTERY ALERT:

All Series

Intermittent chirp of horn and blinking light indicates low battery condition. Change battery.

MEMORY LED LIGHT:

All Series

Blinking light indicates violation has occured.

BATTERY:

All Series

Use 9 volt alkaline battery #D 522 or E 1604.

NOTE: Installer please save this operating instruction sheet for the benefit of the building manager.
