Electromagnetic Extension Kit

This extension kit will extend the reach of the Armature Housing Assembly mounted on the door by 1" (25 mm).

Install the Electromagnetic and Armature Housing Assemblies as described in the accompanying instruction sheet.

  • 1) Remove the screw (B) on the Armature Housing Assembly (A).
  • 2) Remove the Contact Plate Assembly (C) by pulling it away from (A).

  • 3) Insert Contact Plate Assembly (C) into Extension (D), insert and loosely tighten screw (E).
  • 4) Insert (D) assembly into (A) and insert screw (B), but do not tighten completely.
  • 5) Open the door and engage the electromagnet and the Contact Plate Assembly (C).
  • 6) Adjust components to desired position.
  • 7) Tighten screws (B & E) to lock assemblies in place.
