INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CHIMES C210 & C211 C210-W & C211-W CHIME KITS C212 & C213 C212-W & C213-W

NOTE

Use Edwards No. 590 easymount transformer for normal installations. Installations requiring long bell wire runs to the doors, use Edwards No. 591 transformer for more satisfactory operation.

• Remove chime from packing and pull the chime cover off to expose mechanism; remove corrugated liner around plunger mechanism. CAUTION: DO NOT OIL THE CHIME PLUNGER MECHANISM.
• Pull the system wires from the transformer and door buttons through the opening under the coils - in the rear of the backplate.
• Fasten the chime securely in place in the desired location. BE SURE THE PLUNGERS POINT UPWARDS.
• Connect wire leads to their proper terminals on the terminal board as shown in the diagram below.
• 5. Press the chime cover in place over the backplate.

IMPORTANT

When chime is installed, check all door pushbuttons. If a pushbutton should stick in an operated position, the chime coil may burn out.
