The following compilations are the compatible locksets for Edwards Door Openers:

Note: Compatible Lockset designations are offered as a convenience only: reference should be made to manufacturers catalogs for complete data as to exact requirements. Caution must be taken in the alignment of locks with latchbolts when used with an electric strike. The spacing between the door and door jamb varies. If the gap is exceptionally tight, the latchbolt may not project to its maximum length. Edwards Signaling Products, assumes no liability for differences between items compared.

Glossary for Electric Door Strike Terms:

Continuous Duty - A device that is designed to operate continuously without rest.

• Fail Safe A device that is normally open and locks when power is applied to the unit. Example: During a loss of power the device remains open.
• Fail Secure A device that is normally closed or locked until power is applied. Example: During loss of power the device remains locked.
• Intermittent Duty - A device that is designed to operate for a short period of time; generally less than 45 seconds.
• Rectifier - A device that is commonly used to convert AC to DC. Commonly used to silence the audible sound that an electric strike can make while energized on AC.
