INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADVANTEX NARROW (01DN) TRIM OR WIDE (01D) TRIM

PREPARING THE DOOR

• 1. Mark and centerpunch the exit device mounting plate holes according to the exit device instructions.
• 2. Drill pilot holes at centerpunched locations. CAUTION: Be sure to drill STRAIGHT through the door.
• 3. For METAL doors: DEVICE SIDE: drill a 5/16" hole

TRIM SIDE: drill 1/2" hole

For WOOD doors: drill 1/2" hole through door

ASSEMBLE THE OUTSIDE TRIM AND BACKPLATE AS SHOWN BELOW.

Resume the exit device instructions.
