INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. DESCRIPTION
The CX-IRB is Camden's Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) Isolation Relay. It can be used to aid any installer when dealing with integrations that provide excessive power sources or to isolate environmental issues such as electrical noise or induced voltages from unwanted sources.
It can accept 12 or 24 VDC to operate. With its small footprint (1.5" x 2.75") it can be installed into any door operator or existing electrical enclosure.
2. SPECIFICATIONS
| Input Voltage | 12/24 VDC |
|---|---|
| Current Draw | 40 mA @ 12/24 VDC |
| Contacts | 8 amps @ 30VDC/120VAC |
| Status | Red LED (activated when on) |
| Temperature | - 40°C to 70°C (-40° to 158°F) |

3. OPERATION AT A GLANCE
When the CX-IRB's JP1 jumper is set for the desired VDC voltage (12 or 24 volts) and voltage is applied to V+ for positive and V- for negative (GND) the DPDT relay will energize.
This DPDT relay will provide two independent poles offering both changes of state to pick from (N.O. & N.C.) to drive up to two independent functions and offering 4 changes of state.
