DESCRIPTION

Camden Door Controls, CM-9700 and CM-9710 Series surface mount piezo push switches are virtually impervious to weather and vandalism due to their unique one-piece aluminum construction and non-moving part design. The switches do not require power to operate.

CM-9700 is a single gang (2 3/4") width, CM-9710 is only (1 3/8") wide, perfect for door frames or narrow areas. There is an option for English/French and English/ Spanish labels.

Output closure is non-adjustable, 1/4 second duration.

APPLICATION

CM-9700 and CM-9710 Series switches may be connected directly to 'low load' devices such as automatic door operators, power supply switch inputs or access control system. Not recommended for direct connection to 'high load' devices such as electric strikes and magnetic locks. For these applications, an external relay or timer is required.

ARCHITECTS /ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS

Piezo push switch controls to be used throughout the site, or complex will be supplied exclusively by Camden Door Controls. The CM-9700 and CM-9710 Series piezo push switches shall be used for all surface mounting applications.

The switches shall provide a solid state (N/O) output and be fully weatherproof and vandal resistant with one-piece aluminum construction and no moving parts. The switch assembly is to be integral to the housing. Each switch is to be mounted using the supplied tamper-proof or stainless steel Phillips screws.

To "High Load" Locking Device

Connect one wire from your power supply to the switch. The other wire connects to one side of the relay coil then to the switch.
