View PDF1. Install Roses
a. Insert rose onto outside rose plate.
b. Insert posts of outside rose plate into thru-bolt holes in door and lock body. Align inside rose plate with holes on inside surface of door. Insert two connecting screws through inside rose plate into the outside rose plate posts. Tighten securely.
c. Insert inside rose onto rose plate and insert bushings in both roses.
2. Install Lever Handles
a. For swivel spindels, unscrew the two halves of the spindle one full turn. Turn the ramp on the spindle as shown in the illustration. Insert the outside lever/spindle assembly through the outside rose, door, lock and inside rose
b. Slide the inside lever handle onto the spindle and ensure that the lever is tight against the rose. Using the allen wrench provided, tighten the set screw securely.
3. Install Cylinders (if required)
Slip cylinder ring over threaded portion of cylinder. Thread cylinder into lock body. Be sure "ASSA ABLLOY" on cylinder face is upright. Tighten cylinder set screw accessible thru the lock front.
4. Install Thumbturn (if required)
Attach thumbturn mounting plate with two No. 6 wood screws supplied. Insert thumbturn shaft into lockbody and secure thumbturn and rose assembly with two set screws provided.
5. Attach Armor Front
a. Extended deadbolt (if required) and attach the armor front with the two No. 8 machine screws provided.
6. Check Operation of Lock
