Field Installable double Request-to-Exit switch kit for Adams Rite 8400,8600,8800 series exit device. This kit is an easy to install and will send signals to alert the control panel that the door is about to be opened by someone exiting from within the secured area. These switches are SPDT (single pole, double throw).

SPECIFICATIONS:

Rating: 5A@ 120VAC/DC

Configuration: Green - Common (C)

Blue - Normally Open (NO) Gray - Normally Closed (NC)

Remove push pad from the exit device. 1.

Locate exiting holes at the end of the device and fish wires through. 2.

Attach the double Rex Switch using supplied self tapping screws. 3.

Place wire color code label and test switch for proper function. 4.

5. Replace pad cover to exit device.
