K-106 ADAMS RITE 3000 AND 8000 SERIES

MONITORS THE USE OF THE PUSH BAR

Electrical Specifications:

SPDT Monitor Switch Contacts Rated: 4A @ 250VAC

Wire Color Codes:

YELLOW - Common RED - Normally Open GRAY - Normally Closed

Installation:

• 1. Separate the push bar from the mounting bar assembly.
• 2. Locate the K-106 Kit near the rear push bar mechanism.
• 3. Rotate the switch plate clockwise to engage the upper mounting bar groove and slide toward the rear push bar mechanism. Verify the switch arm is positioned behind the center link flange.
• 4. Secure the switch plate to the mounting bar by tightening the set screws.
• 5. Route the lead wires along the side of the mounting bar, into the lower mounting bar groove, and under the pin.
• 6. Secure the lead wires to the mounting bar using the supplied ty-wrap mount and ty-wrap.
• 7. Attach the push bar to the mounting bar assembly.
