45ET ELECTRIFIED CYLINDER ESCUTCHEON LEVER TRIM

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

For use with Hager 45ET Lever Trim on Rim and Vertical Rod Exit Devices.

45ET - Electrically Locked (Fail Safe)

• Outside trim is locked when power is applied
• When power is removed, allows entry by lever handle.
• Exit device always allows free egress.
• Outside key cylinder momentarily overrides locking control

45ET - Electrically Unlocked (Fail Secure)

• Outside trim is unlocked when power is applied
• When power is applied, allows entry by lever handle.
• Exit device always allows free egress.
• Outside key cylinder momentarily overrides locking control

The 45ET is set to Fail Secure when shipped. To change the function between Fail Safe and Fail Secure, move the slider switch. Power must be applied to the trim after the slider switch change is made for it to take effect.

Switch Slider Settings:

Yellow: Fail Secure Green: Fail Safe
