1. DETERMINE HANDING

The Classroom Deadbolt is preset from the factor for a right hand door (RH or RHR). Follow these instructions to convert the deadbolt for a left hand door.

For RH or RHR. use the "gold" handing collar.

For LH or LHR. use the "black" handing collar.

2. REMOVE RH/RHR HANDING COLLAR

Use hex wrench to remove set screw and RH/RHR handing collar.

3. INSTALL LH/LHR HANDING COLLAR

Maintain thumb turn in upward position and insert "black" handing collar.

Use hex wrench to securely tighten set screw in keyway located on the underside of stem.
