11G38 Function Description

• • Guardbolt deadlocks latchbolt
• Latchbolt by either lever unless the outside lever is locked by key in either lever
• Inside lever always operative
• • Key in either lever locks or unlocks the outside lever, only the key from the same side of the door can unlock the outside lever
• • When inside key locks the outside lever, the outside key retracts the latchbolt but does not unlock the lever. Outside key must be rotated completely clockwise before removing the key.

When inside key locks outside lever, outside key only retracts the latchbolt. Outside key must be rotated back completely clockwise before removing the key.
