INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- MEASURE 2" OUT FROM DOOR JAMB ON CENTERLINE OF DOOR. THIS IS THE LOCATION OF SPINDLE CENTER.
- 2. RADIUS HINGE EDGE AND PREPARE DOOR FOR 1/16" MIN. CLEARANCE THRU ENTIRE OPENING.
- 3. INSTALL 0370 DOOR PORTION PER TEMPLATE.
- 4. INSTALL 0370 FLOOR PORTION PER TEMPLATE
- 5. INSTALL 0340 DOOR PORTION PER TEMPLATE.
- 6. INSTALL 0340 JAMB PORTION PER TEMPLATE.
- 7. FASTEN 0340 DRESS PLATE TO 0340 JAMB PORTION.
- 8. CENTERLINE OF PIVOT SHOULD ALIGN WITH CENTERLINE OF BOTTOM SPINDLE. USE A PLUMB LINE TO ASSURE ACCURACY.
- 9. SET INSTALLED 0370 DOOR PORTION ON 0370 FLOOR PORTION SPINDLE.
- ENGAGE THE TOP PIVOT PIN BY TURNING PIN RETRACTING SCREW CLOCKWISE.
DISMOUNT DOOR (IF REQUIRED)
- 1. OPEN THE DOOR ENOUGH TO DISENGAGE THE TOP PIVOT.
- 2. ROTATE THE DOOR TO CLOSED POSITION.
- WITH THE TOP OF THE DOOR LEANING TOWARD YOU, LIFT THE DOOR CLEAR OF THE SPINDLE.
